For Sale: 2007 Aprilia SXV 550.
This bike is like CRACK on wheels. Crack the throttle and you had better have a good grip!! The bike is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Never been down. The only thing "wrong" with it is the stock decals are lifting at the corners (common problem).
The bike is mostly stock except: -derestricted (exhaust uncorked, throttle stop removed, TPS reset, and ECU remapped, all done by Moto International in Seattle) -AF1 finned aluminum oil filter cap -AF1 air filter with airbox top removed -AF1 carbon countershaft sprocket cover -X-Trig triple clamps -Acerbis handguards and bar-ends -little do-hicky modified on the sidestand so it no longer automatically retracts
This bike currently has just over 3000 miles on her. At about 1800, the original owner had the notorious "orange sealant failure" in the original 450 engine, and replaced it with a rebuilt 550 engine (along with the required exhaust and throttle body changes). The replacement 550 engine was a rebuilt engine done by Allen Noland at Xtreme Power Sports. Allen has quite a reputation for building these engines rock-solid. http://apriliaforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=203161
I have been using Motorex 10w60 oil in the engine and changing it religiously. Ditto on the transmission oil, using the proper gear oil.
Fork oil has recently been changed to full-synthetic.
Battery was replaced last month.
I love this bike, but just cant seem to get enough funds or time to hit the track as I intended.
Completely street-legal, with NO chance of the plates being pulled. This bike meets EPA/DOT requirements and was imported as a street model.
Located in Tri-Cities. Willing to help with shipping if needed. Call five-oh-nine, nine four seven, seven five oh four.
Asking price $4800.

Hello all -
Sad to post this, but have to sell the bike due to an unfortunate medical incident, unrelated to riding.
Anyhow - as the title says, its a 2002 Moto Guzzi V11 Lemans. I bought it last July from the original owner, who bought it from Munroe Motors. Very responsibly ridden, never dropped, never taken to the track. Just enjoyed as it was meant to be enjoyed out on the twists and turns in the Bay Area. It has 23.6k miles on it now.
High res pics can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/alankel...7624623728892/
Upgrades include some tasteful Ferracci carbon (crossover, front fender, rear fender eliminator, chin scoop) and a full Ferracci exhaust. Power Commander also installed. Has new Avons with less than 800 miles on them. Title in hand, recent registration.
This bike is in fantastic shape both cosmetically and mechanically. A truly beautiful example of the Lemans, and a rare sport tourer that will really turn heads. This certainly isn't your run of the mill Monster, GXSR or CBR and is a bike with real soul and desire. You will not find another recent Lemans in such great shape at this price.
I've also had some questions on the quality assurance issues that were well documented in 2002 and 2003 when Aprilia bought Guzzi. This bike was completely immune to any of those issues. No paint flaking off the motor case, no leaking seals, no clutch issues. Nada. Regardless - even if there were any issues, by 23k miles (and 8 years) all of the issues would have presented themselves and been corrected by either the previous owner or myself. So rest assured you are getting the best of the best and an incredibly well sorted bike that needs nothing and is completely turn key.
Here is another link for your reading enjoyment on the Guzzi: http://www.pashnit.com/bikes/V11-Lemans.htm
Happy to set up a time to see the bike, Absolutely no test rides without cash in hand and M1 license.
$6,700 OBO, all inquiries should call (415) 425-8830

Hurts to do it but it also hurts to ride it. Just find myself riding father and father from home and need something a little more upright.
The good: runs perfect looks a 9.75 outta 10. Mivv gp carbon fiber cans. The sound is insane. Baffles out but included. Bike set to "map 2" for the cans. New back tire bstone 002. Always serviced on time. Repsol full synthetic and k&n filters. Has been the most reliable bike I have owned. No seriously. Never been downed, dropped, leaned on or otherwise. Has all the goodies, ohlins, brembo radials, slipper clutch ect. The bad: could use a front tire soon. No pic at the moment as I'm posting from an iPhone. Can email no prob. Maybe someone can post. 9k obo

Im selling my 2008 suzuki sv650 because I just got a new Aprilia dorsoduro. This sv650 is in great shape; approximately 13000 miles, has had all scheduled maintenance performed. This naked SV is blue. The only mods are a frame sliders, fender eliminator, bar end mirrors, handle bar heaters. The bike is in really good shape with only a couple of minor scrapes. I did low side it once off pagemill but the frame sliders ate all of that - no frame or body damage at all. Feel free to call with any questions. 805 705 6202 cmetzenberg@gmail.com -Conrad

2002 APRILIA RSV MILLE R...ONE OWNER
I am open to trades. I am interested in a naked bike and prefer a European or UK manufacturer.
This is one of my favorite Italian sportbikes. I have owned a 2000, 2000.5, 2001 and this 2002 Aprilia Milles and a bunch of Ducati's. This bike does everything really well and is one of the best handling bikes out there. The Aprilia's were so far ahead of most the other bikes in the handling department that most reviews say they got it right 10 years ago. The V-twin engine built by Rotax of Austria is a beautifully crafted piece of machinery that will go on for a long long time without any real need for repairs or much attention. These are very low cost maintenance bikes and it is almost unheard of to have to adjust the valves as they tend to stay in spec for many miles.
If you know what Aprilia's are then enough said and if you do not know about Aprilia then you really owe it to yourself to find out what these bikes are about. This is no stock Mille as it has about $5250 worth of performance mods.
Quick specs on my 2002 Aprilia RSV Mille R
* Original owner, I bought it new in 2004 as a standard RSV * Converted to a RSVR in 2009 using all original parts from a RSVR that I also owned * EVO air box and K & N filter $300 * EVO short aluminum TB stacks $100 * Large intake air boot $50 * 53mm throttle bodies $600 * Power Commander 3 $300 * GRP Eprom performance chip $150 * Akrapovic Ti full exhaust system (oversize headers) $3,200 * Silicone performance spark plug wires $50 * Rhino full sliders: bar ends, fork, swingarm and two sets of frame sliders $500 * All the standard R goodies: Ohlins front and rear, OZ racing wheels, SS oil tank, Carbon fiber body parts, etc... * Recent rear Ohlins shock rebuild by Lindermann Engineering $325 * Approx 7,xxx miles * Never down or scratched, all services done per manual * Near mint condition overall
$7,500 as setup now or $6,500 without the performance mods and put back to stock.
Currently insured and registered and being ridden. I have Nevada paper title in hand without any liens, etc.

2009 Yamaha R1 Yellow. With ONLY 700 miles! $10500. This bike has been very well taken care of and is near perfect / brand new. These sell anywhere from 10k to 13k not including dealer setup fees, freight, and tax. This is pretty much a new bike with no defects whatsoever. As compared to the 2010 model, there are no mechanical differences. For the price, this is almost one of the most inexpensive ones you will find. It is an absolutely beautiful and very clean bike. Turns heads everywhere I go, and rated extremely well. They are known to have some insane raw power and handle extremely well with top honors in several reviews including one vs. the new Aprilia RSV4. It has three factory engine mapping modes, and the only modifications made to the stock bike are removal of flame decals on upper fairings, flush mount front led turn signals, rear fender eliminator with license bracket and led. The bike is always garaged, located in Tracy. You are welcome to look at it any evening or over the weekend, just email or call 614-477-4848 so we can make arrangements accordingly. No test rides unless you have an agreed cash amount in hand, and a valid motorcycle license. If you drop it or damage it, you buy it. I just received the new tags, which are good till June 2011. I have a clean title in hand. Cash or direct bank transfer only please in person, personal checks must clear before you pick up the bike. If you would like to see any more pictures, email or call and I can get them to you. Thanks for looking. Attached Thumbnails

WOW...CHECK THIS OUT!
2005 DUCATI 999 WITH CUSTOM SUPER HIGH GLOSS BLACK
NOTE!!! THIS HAS A NEVADA REBUILT TITLE...IF THIS FREAKS YOU OUT THEN DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING.
Would consider a trade for a naked bike. European or UK manufacture preferred.
Here is my 2005 999. If you know what these are then enough said.
I have had a few Italian sport bikes (Ducati and Aprilia) these past few years and this one is the best of the lot. The 999 was Ducati's mold breaker and a whole new concept for them. Everything on this bike was designed to be there, nothing was bolted on just because it was cheaper to do. The overall look was so far ahead of its time (first released in 2003) that most people didn't like it. Now after 5 years since the last model some people are waking up to what has to be one of the most beautiful and striking sport bikes in the world.
The other thing that was so different on the 999 is the ergonomics. It has a lot of adjustability for different size riders. The entire seat and tank can be moved forward and aft to set the reach to the clip-on to fit each rider. The seat height , foot pegs, brake and shift levers, brake and clutch levers are all adjustable. This was also the last of the true hand built Ducati's, before they went into higher production/lower cost manufacturing. Look closely at the 848 or 1098 and you will see the differences.
The ride is nothing short of, well close to perfect. It just does everything right and feels very narrow beneath you. You do not sit up real high with you nose pointed down like most sport bikes, you sit in this bike. It is a great feeling. It is extremely nimble and feels more like a smaller 750 bike, yet has the grunt of a liter v-twin. It is very responsive in the twisties and doesn't require much effort to throw around. It is overall well sorted out and does what you what it to do without putting up a big fuss.
The 2005 has the deep sump engine and the redesigned front fairing air inlets. A better engine and a bit more stylish front end look.
I am really going to miss this bike, that's for sure.
$8,000
Quick specs on the 999 and a list of the tasty bits:
* Barnet Kevlar clutch * Gilles rearset * Gilles chain adjusters * Recent high gloss black paint * Professionally cored muffler, sounds like a Termignoni * Nemesis programmable ECU with software. Laptop control of every conceivable engine parameter, unlimited custom maps, etc... * Approx 7,xxx miles * Rebuilt Nevada title due to tip over with kickstand down ... DAH! * Madduc clutch cover * Billet clutch plate and SS springs * Metzler Sportec tires, 190 rear of course and lots of life left * Custom seat cover * New CRG levers * Other goodies I can't think of right now * Excellent condition overall
Currently insured and registered and being ridden when it isn't snowing out. I have Nevada paper title in hand without any liens, etc.

I am selling a 2001 Derbi GPR with a 75cc top end and Gianelli expansion chamber modified to fit. Less than 50 miles ago, I replaced the following parts; Tires, heavy duty racing chain, headlight bulbs, battery, electric start motor (being installed this week), radiator flushed & filled, oil injector cleaned an inspected (works perfectly).
The bad: The previous owner dropped the bike at low speed. There is damage to the right rear and sides of fairing (he tried to cover up with touch up paint, the bar ends were also scuffed & repainted). He used misc. hardware to mount the fairing. The speedometer/odometer was replaced as it is currently at only 5xx kilometers but the pink slip says 5xxx miles. Doesn't affect bike whatsoever but I want to be as honest as possible.
Registration is good through May 2011 and it has a clear California title. Please email with any questions or offers. Askng $2200 OBO Willing to trade straight across for a clean titled Aprilia RS50.

2001 Aprilia Futura for sale or trade. Would like a sport, naked or super motard. Italian, British and Buell bikes to top of the list.
It has 45,000 miles and many quality upgrades.
If you're looking for a sport tourer with the emphasis on the "sport" part, this is the bike for you. It is the same engine and similar twin-spar frame as Aprilia RSV Mille super sport and it's naked sibling Tuono, but sports more relaxed geometry, tuned for more mid-range torque. The aluminum frame is polished to a silky shine--gorgeous!--and has a very sweet single-sided swingarm. It also has a bigger subframe with hands-down the most all-day comfortable seat of any ST on the road. (superior to my RT even) The cases are spacious and easily removed, and the bike looks killer without them too, especially with that sexy swingarm. It has very good power and is outstanding on sweeping backroad curves, will embarrass most sport bike riders with the right pilot. The engine is an Austrian 998 cc V-twin built by Rotax; it is as reliable as any Japanese liter mill out there with far more soul and character, and the under-seat exhaust looks sharp. No heat issues either like ST13, FJR or C14, and it is much lighter (518 lbs wet) and slimmer between the legs. It was (and arguably still is) the most competent ST on the market in terms of handling, with the added bonus of exclusivity and rareness. This bike has curb appeal in spades. Other riders check it out and admire it just about wherever it's parked. It is not a poser or a gentleman's ST though; it is raw and visceral, and it will happily reward an aggressive rider.
Here's a blurb from June 2010 Cycle World:
Upgrades & details:Very unique Lexus pearl white paint (looks way better in person than photos)Steel quick-disconnect fuel line coupler (the factory plastic one is a liability)De-restricted intake airbox for better breathingOne-tooth reduction at primary gear for quicker mid-range pullThrottleMeister throttle lockMarzocchi fork from 2003 Falco (3/4" shorter than stock Showa for quicker handling, and three-way adjustability over stock two-way)Larger 320mm Brembo brake discs (stock were 300mm)Custom stainless steel brake lines (front)LED charging volt meter (bike built without voltmeter)Power outletLaminar Lip windscreen extension (not pictured)Recent tune-up and synthetic oil change (around 3000 miles ago)New sprockets and gold DID ZVM2 chain installed about 3000 miles agoVery fresh Dunlop RoadSmart tires (500 miles)Lots of extra "bits" go with it Disclosure of The Bad: Bike was crashed last year, ran wide and flipped onto soft earth, then slid onto road. Damage was cosmetic: LH plastic, mirror, windscreen, peg, shifter, etc. Professionally repaired, all items were replaced with genuine Aprilia parts, no insurance claim, clean title, clean CarFax. No frame, engine, swingarm, tank impact; wheels, subframe, seat, lights all untouched. Sidecase took the impact and spared the bike. Every bit has been replaced, bike has been ridden over 4000 miles since. It is better than any stock Futura you will find.
Also, I do not like the Roadsmarts. They are a heavy tire and have slowed down the handling transitions, though they do seem to be improving some with mileage. For me, Michelin PR2 rear and PP2 front are best handling/wear combination.
Bike has real-world value around $5K. Would like to trade straight across for something equal.
Thanks for your consideration.

For sale is a beautiful 2005 Aprilia RSV 1000 R in black with many tasteful extras that enhance the performance of the bike. It has just over 10,000 miles, and has been well maintained. In fact, the handful of possible "glitches" you may have read about this model has been proactively dealt with already. It's adult owned and never dropped. The paint is in great condition. It is waxed often and is garage kept. Exclusive Italian motorcycle without the high cost of maintenance like the others since the motor is Rotax. It runs strong and perfect! Aprilia is now back in the winner's circle in world superbike racing!
In addition to the bike's great looks, liter v-twin motor, fully adjustable suspension, radial caliper brakes, and multi-function digital/analog instrument cluster, over $3,000 have been invested in enhancements. Bike has clear title and I have it in hand. Upgrades include:
- Leo Vince aluminum exhaust for additional horsepower and a powerful sound. - Brembo professional billet aluminum racing clutch master cylinder. - Upgraded fuel pump - Upgraded electrical wiring harness. - MPL red anodized performance clutch slave cylinder that reduces clutch effort found on liter bikes. - Gel grips for riding comfort. - Throttle Meister cruise control for long distance comfort. - Brand new Dunlop Q2 sport tires - Custom red seat
Asking $6,890 or make your best offer for quick sale.
I can send high res photos. Thanks for looking. You can reach me at ntn007us@yahoo.com
It can be a sexier and better alternative to bikes like ducati, moto guzzi, yamaha, suzuki, honda, mv agusta. Attached Thumbnails

My beautiful Ducati 900SS is up for sale:
http://portland.craigslist.org/grg/mcy/1865139878.html
The listed price is $6000 including valve check/adjustment, $5600 without. There is some wiggle room on the price for a fellow board member.
Bike and I are located in Stevenson, WA... about 45 minutes east of Portland, OR. If you're from out of town, fly in, buy it, and ride around in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area before riding home. [thumbsup] I'm in the Portland/Vancouver area on a regular basis, and would be happy to meet you there for you to take a look. I work in Hood River, so I can easily meet you out here, too.
My first "big bike" and my first Ducati. Love this thing dearly. Only letting it go because my wife and I are moving out to a rural property, and it's five miles of gravel road... also, my wife is loving riding backseat, so we need us a more comfortable 2-up adventure touring bike. A friend of mine is selling a beautiful low-mileage Ducati Multistrada that I'd like to buy.
So anyway, with the need for a different bike (and the subsequent need for cash) my baby is going up for sale.
Possible trades (bike or bike-plus-cash) for a Ducati Multistrada (S-model with Ohlins suspenders), BMW R1100GS/R1150GS/R1200GS, Moto Guzzi Stelvio, Aprilia Caponord, or Triumph Tiger 1050.
Pics are in the Craigslist ad, and I'll repost some of 'em here...
Who can resist the adorable baby?!? (that's my niece... we're indoctrinating her early [evil])
(photo copyright Ben Arboled)
Other details about the bike are in the CL ad. Feel free to PM me with questions.

(See also here)
2001 Aprilia Futura for sale ($4500.00) or trade.
Details:
2001 Aprilia RST 1000 Futura sport tourer, 45K miles.
Upgrades & details:Very unique Lexus pearl white paint (looks way better in person than photo)Steel quick-disconnect fuel line coupler (the factory plastic one is a liability)De-restricted intake airbox for better breathingOne-tooth reduction at primary gear for harder mid-range pullThrottleMeister throttle lockMarzocchi fork from 2003 Falco (3/4" shorter than stock Showa for quicker handling, and three-way adjustability over stock two-way)Larger 320mm Brembo brake discs (stock were 300mm)Custom stainless steel brake lines (front)LED charging volt meter (bike built without voltmeter)Power outletLaminar Lip windscreen extensionRecent tune-up, DID gold chain, sprockets and synthetic oil change (around 3000 miles ago)Very fresh Dunlop RoadSmart tires (500 miles) Disclosure of The Bad:
Bike was crashed last year, ran wide and flipped onto soft earth, then slid onto road. Damage was mostly cosmetic: LH plastic, mirror, windscreen, peg, shifter, clutch handle etc. Professionally repaired, all items were replaced with genuine Aprilia parts, no insurance claim, clean title, clean CarFax. Fork and brake upgrades done at this time too, though they were not damaged (have original fork, lines and discs). No frame, engine, swingarm, tank impact; wheels, subframe, seat, lights all untouched. Sidecase and fairing took the impact and spared the bike. Every bit has been replaced, bike has been ridden over 3000 miles since. It is better than any stock Futura you will find.
Bike has real-world value around $5K. Would like to trade straight across for something equal.
Thanks for your consideration. Attached Thumbnails

NEW PRICE TO MOVE THIS BIKE: $5,000!
Rare stock silver color scheme...supposely only 50 imported into the US.
Bought it about a year ago to be my street bike and literally haven't ridden it. Been sitting in the garage. Need two new cars so the bike must go.
Needs nothing. Runs perfectly, very strong and fun bike. I never even set the sag/suspension or anything for myself. Just put brand new tires on it and putted it around a couple of times to start to scrub the tires in. Been sitting ever since. Fire it up every week in the garage and keep it clean.
No crashes, clean VIN. Registration is current.
Has 14000 miles or 23000 kms
Upgrades: Brand new Bridgestone BT016's ($440) Full akrapovic exhaust system Gilles Billet Rear Sets Billet Top Triple Clamp Billet Caps Billet Brake/Clutch Levers Frame sliders Corbin Seat
$5000
Kelly Blue Book Suggested Retail Value = $6305 (without any upgrades included).
Come get a solid deal before I change my mind! Please, no trades or lowballers. No rides without cash in hand.
Email for better pictures and if you want to chat.
Thanks.

Selling my buddys (used to be mine) 2000 Aprilia RS50.
Has a TOP Performance 73.5cc kit installed 3 months ago, maybe 300 miles ago by Dankerson, Prez of Bay Area Two Stroke and master mechanic. Also installed at the time was a new Carenzini Racing crankshaft. The engine has a Mikuni flatslide 24mm carb properly jetted for the extreme jump in performance added. A K&N airfilter lets the setup breathe.
New 3 months ago $550 Jolly Moto Carbon Fiber full exhaust system. The owner that bought the bike from me spent some serious $$$ on AF1Racing and other sites replacing old or missing parts. Things like a new smoked windscreen, new Barnett clutch, and new Pirelli MT75 tires. Small things like the speedo cable, headlight bulb and misc nuts and bolts were replaced as well.
A new chain and both front and rear sprockets, re geared for excellent street performance with big bore kits. A new seat was added as well. Inner plastic fairing trim pieces were added around the gauges for a completed look.
A set of upgraded front end springs are included but not installed yet. Also a set of HP pads, front and rear included.
I bought this bike from Dankerson that he somewhat built up originally... including the plastics from an older race bike of his. The bike itself does not have damage or anything else indicative of being down hard at the track, etc. The plastics do have scrapes and scuffs on both sides. My buddy was preparing to have them sanded down and repainted and apply the original graphics, but he is trying to finish a Z50 project, and would like to free up some $$$.
Current CA registration, clean title in hand, bike is located in San Luis Obispo CA but could POSSIBLY arrange meeting halfway or delivery to the bay.
$2300 obo, not in a real hurry to sell, but a lot of bike with $$$ parts that arent available any longer, with street registration - IMO its a steal. Will cruise at 75mph.
Will post better pics tonight, have these from when the owner had it up giving it some cleaning :)
